The Train Doctor

How many times have you been let down by your 'pride and joy' locomotive? May be not many times, but when it hesitates to start, does not run smoothly or stops completely, who can you turn to? Now you have The Train Doctor of St.Osyth!!!!!!!

We are willing to look at any loco and provide an estimate for repairs (if it is possible). There is no charge for the initial look or the estimate and charges are split into parts and labour. If you feel you can carry out the repair yourself, then the parts will be supplied at the estimate cost. The estimate will also include return postage and packing.

E-mail us at sales@tinplatetrains.co.uk and let us know your problem - we will respond and provide our address for postage - no deposit is necessary.

Should the loco be beyond repair we will be pleased to provide a 'scrap value' should you wish to sell it for spares, or return the loco to you with no charge.

Please note that as from 1st January 2010 'n' and 'z' gauge are excluded from our repair service due to difficulty with obtaining spare parts. We apologise for this break in service and trust that we can continue with these gauges in the near future.
